I've heard that leichardtis can take cold water, if the air temperature is at 2 below, the water temp. could easily be as low as the 40-50s.

sorry, i mean -2 c = 28 F

which means the water temp. could easily be in the 40-50 Fahrenheit.

He just survived his second winter and is going strong.

I am thinking about throwing my two AUL in the pond over spring and summer to see if I can get them up to real monster size

The blue tank pictured is supposed to be his new home...but it leaks >_<

I need to find some time to fix it.
