I've had mine a few months, and he's only gotten like 3 inches bigger!!
He was a tiny little thing like yours when I got him too!!
He's not thick like yours at all!!
I only give mine little guppies and freeze dried blood worms though!!

Yours was 5" when you got him!!
Mine was like 2" when I got him!!
Now he's about 5 "!!
I can't wait till he gets thick!!

Tankspace affects the growth rate a lot. What size tank do you keep it in?
 
they get thicker above 8". even mine is still kinda slender. im movin him maybe today back to the 150. he eats like a mad man now.

when u win the contest eh? we'll see about that! lol. mine is still around 7" i guess. he's been eating way way more now that i have him in the 150 again. in the 60 he would jus go crazy like he was hungry but when i feed, he dont even eat that much. but now he eats til he has to force it down and his tummy is nice n plump. so i guess i should expect more growth from now forward. ill post another update in may or june

Hehe, well I'll use my Jedi Tattooist skill's and creativity :D...anyhow, just hoping like anyone else ;)....I submitted mine yesterday (sunday)....plus it's SO HARD to get one on this island considering there are ONLY 2 LFS here and are 2 hours apart from each other. And any oddball is scarce....first come first serve type deal. Also they are always slammed with orders, and shipping to hawaii is super expensive.

By the way, what do you feed your little dude? I suppose the same as a silver but hey....Lei's might have a different preference. If you find your camera, I would love to see updated pix. Great looking fish though....:D
