Leichardti arowana help!!!

I have a leichardti arowana.he about 4-5 inch long. I been trying to get him to eat arowana stick. So I starve him for 2 day. I gave him the stick but he chew and throw it out. If I starve him any long can he get sick or maybe die? Help me guy!!!! Thank ( he love Bloodworm and criket)

DONT FEED CRICKETS to much they get addicted,uh keep starving until 4-5 days,when i train mines,if it doesnt eat after 5 days then i refeed my arowana mealworms,superworm,market prawn,krills,etc to make it full then starve for 5 days and try

Is it really that much better to feed them stick food than just give them live food all the time like in the wild ?

if food stick dont work then frozen dried krills is good,i just think live food enhances my aros color and activeness more

feeder is a big no no and too much crickets get them addicted and they wont eat anything else

because they will sometimes get the same problem the op has and refuse to take anything else.

stick foods have most of the vitamins and nutrition that are good for aros growing up. also can't compare domestic crickets with all sorts of bugs in the wild.
