Leichardti arowana help!!!

theres actually a trick to feeding an arowana Arowana Sticks...

It all starts with a can of Bine shrimp... the reason for that is once a arowana gets used to the taste of shrimp, it will then proceed to eat anything shrimp flavor...

These included:

Hikari Arowana sticks
Hikari Bio Gold pellet
Bine shrimp in general

AND FINALLY... Market shrimp (stuff u get in the seafood section) where market shrimp goes for $1.69- $2.00 a pound

My silver arowana at first didnt eat arowana sticks.... and only stick to crickets and other small feed fish..

Until i later found out that the LFS feed them bine shrimp.. once i feed him that.. i slowly moved to arowana sticks and then market shrimp....

Also, about 60-80% of all Carivours pellets have shrimp as a key ingredient....

nice Jon,i dont think pellets/sticks is that neccesary,i just feed my aros a varied diet,i feed them mealworm,superworm,market prawn,FD krills,blood/black worm,earth worm,crickets(crickets once a month,EarthWorm every 2 week as treats)

leichardti's will eat pellets. chewing n spitting is showing interest so just keep it up until he takes to it
