It does depend on the individual fish and also the fish you keep it with.

My leichardti seems to attack fish that generally also try and dominate the tank/pond. It will leave other fish alone though.

Jardini seem to attack almost anything...however I have seen both species exist in peaceful community tanks.

I think in general you could probably say that leichardti are less aggressive...but what im also trying to say is....just because you have a leichardti...that doesn't mean it won't be a total *****.

they had some smal ones at my lfs all of them were about 4-6" for $225 so yes they are expensive
