I couldn’t find anything on here about lemon firemouths, so I figured I’d share mine. I don’t know if it’s male or female. I’ve had it about a year now it’s around 4 - 4.5 inches. If anyone has had any experience or any information on these beautiful fish please share!

Looks like a Thorichthys pasionis
Thorichthys pasionis: A Jewel of the Yucatanl
This species of Thorichthys is often referred to as the Yellow Firemouth (or even worse, Yellow Meeki, argh!) By connecting it to a long term, mainstay cichlid like the Firemouth (in the minds of some fish sellers), should serve to improve its marketability. It's a shame that it hasn't yet...www.monsterfishkeepers.com
I had a few briefly, but they were drab poor quality imo so I replaced them with Thorichthys maculipinnis.. Kool fish though..
+1The fish is Thorichthys pasionis, not T. meeki (Firemouth)
