This is strictly a hypothetical, but what would be wrong with adding a little pure lemon juice to aquarium water to lower ph? It's natural, it's got vitamins, just seems like it would be possible. What do all the chemists think? Where's Dr. Joe?
You didn't think you'd get away easy did you?![]()

What's the pH of your tap water (what you will use for W/C's)?
Why do you want to lower it?
What kind of fish / bio-load?
How much do you want to lower it?

I have your answer I just making you work for it (Hypothetically).
