so are lemon oscars really that hard to find perhaps I shall have to pick up the 2 that are at a store here

That looks basically like an albino red oscar, and he doesn't look very good in the picture. Clamped fins, sunken belly (looks like he was starved to death). Was it that way when you bought him? I'd take it back to wherever you bought it and demand a healthy one or a refund.

I did take him back to the LFS and I got an exchange for an Albino Tin-Foil Barb & a Red Oscar, The Albino's doing great ever since I got him, but the Red died on me like the Lemon did

That's either a dyed albino red or dyed albino tiger. True lemon oscars eyes are black, not red nor orange/yellowish. I do find some lemon oscar with burgundy eyes. Runs at a good price for an oscar too. At my LFS, when they have them in stock. They usually run a good $25-$30 for a 3" guy.

Yes I know what you mean. I have seen lemon running at a higher price. I've seen $80 for 3". It all depends on certain LFS on how easy they can get theirs and how much they pay for theirs.
