My older pair are both over 2 years old. Their color just seems to get more yellow. They're definitely more yellow than the trio of juvie sunshines I have in another tank.

Hey Oddball, I know this is a really old thread....but did your Lemons stay yellow? Do you still have them? I always wondered if Lemons turned orange or red as they matured but you're the only one I've ever come across that has/had adults.

mine still hasalmost no color a little yellow but definatly not red and it has been almost a year, still only about 5 or 6 inches tho

They've only grown 2-3" in a year? Time to upgrade their 33 gal tank, that's too small for an Oscar sharing it with 3 Convicts.

sorry my sig is really old things have changed alot he is in there he is in with only with one juvy con (1 of the many babies from the cons, and the reason i got rid of them) also when i got him he was maybe an inch and a half now maybe he is closer to 6 or 7 ( not very good at guessing) anyway I will update my sig after work

he is for now, he will be moved into another 55 i have, then to either the 135, or 200 i am picking up
