i think that i can get sweet deal on some lemon oscars so they 5-7 inches and for $16:00 and theyre the type that eat feeder's :) but any ways i was thinking mabey an oscar ,an I.D shark and a plec in a 55 gallon

Well, I don't know anything about ID Sharks but the little I know about oscars would make me think that a 55gal will be comfortably enough for one fully grown oscar alone. If the ID Shark also gets big (?) then I'd think you would need to look at a bigger tank or pick either the shark or the oscar, but not both. I may be erring heavily on the side of caution there, though.

ya i would probily move em up to a 200 gall and get get a ray and an asian aro

an id shark will get as big as your 55g aquarium itself. if its a common type pleco or one of the other larger growing species a 55 is much to small as well. as far as the oscar goes 75g minimum to keep one happy for life. if you were to keep all 3 of those fish your looking at atleast a 400+g tank, drop the id shark and youd get away with a 120g 4x2x2.

welll er i will put it in the pond in my back yard

with you living in canada i can not recommend any tropical fish stayin in an outdoor pond. This "shark" (called so just to sell more even though its a catfish) will get huge and isn't a good aquarium fish at all. Just go with the oscar alone or come up with a different plan because a common pleco and an ID shark both get too large for a 55 gallon tank and they both aren't very easily rehoused.

huffff never mind i just wont get a id shark i'll just get the oscar

Quick Question..
How many O's could fit comfortably in a 4x2x2? I think possibly a trio?
I want to get a Platinum, Albino and a Longfin.
