lemon oscars

Quick Question..
How many O's could fit comfortably in a 4x2x2? I think possibly a trio?
I want to get a Platinum, Albino and a Longfin.

2 would be good, but 3 could work also, just remember they are messy fish and need good filtration and a good water change schedual.

and in response to cb's comment, oscars are playfull and personable enough that you really don't need dithers for them at all. I'd probably just go with the oscar if all you have to work with is a 55, and that should work until it reaches its peak size (around 14" isn't uncommon at all)

Lemon Oscar is basicly a higg yellow albino
Platinum = Leucistic.
Dither= a target fish so that agressive species mess with them instead of the other fish.

I don't think a 55 is big enough for an oscar. A 75, yes, but how is the fish happy in a tank that it has just enough room to turn around in?

Iridescent sharks get ridiculously large.

And what do you mean by "the type that eats feeders"? There is no special type of oscar that specifically eats them. Most all oscars will, as far as I know. Using feeders is pretty unhealthy anyway, and a waste of money IMO. Especialy goldfish.

By my definition, a dither is a fish or group of fish that will be active and thus make the larger fish more outgoing and active, rather than hiding all day... which, IMO, would be unnecessary with an Oscar... I suppose some people have different definitions for fish terminology....

Target fish are for very aggressive fish to attack instead of the other fish, dithers are for getting sluggish and normally lethargic fish to come and get moving around. Some people switch the two around. Their really close in definition though.
