LEMON SHARKS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
do lemons really utilize all that space? at public aquariums I recall they are usually lying on the bottom doing nothing.

na thats a NURSE shark
lemon sharks always swim well at least when i seen them

they were totally lemon sharks, what I saw. They apparently don't need to move constantly to breathe, like other pelagic-looking species.

then they were dead
the ones i saw, circled the top like, well sharks

I had a lemon shark in a 1600 gal pond......... several years back........ i "rescued" it from a guy who had it in a 300 gal tank......... anyways......... it was a real "monster" ......... it would grab other sharks a swim around with them in its mouth during feeding time......... even sharks bigger than itself............ It killed 4 smoothhounds and one 3ft leopard.......... before the the power went out and back siphoned the entire pond........... It really isnt a shark for the home aquaria........ i think i still have it in my freezer......... hmmm

Yeah that's one problems with lemon sharks...they like to eat other sharks. That's why I'm partial to black tips

When I was in high school I would draw out plans for 80,000 gallon concrete tanks to build in my back yard. I wonder how much that would cost...lol
