Lents???pick up

Hi Guys Lfs aquired 6 crennies from their supplier that they got in as black line pikes.Got a call from them to help id,3 where vens and the others where these which i think are lents.So i purchased 2 for the sum of £20 for the 2.Would appreciate your views on my identification and i'm pretty sure they are both male.Both are 6"tl.

yes they seem to be lents. At 6" TL you won't be able to tell male from female. The white band in the dorsal comes in a bit later when the female if you have 1 is about 8" or maybe even bigger.

Yes and you should have picked up all three to better your chance of a female. Then you could ship her to me.

thanks guys dont you just love it when suppliers and lfs get fish in they know nothing about.couldnt let such a bargain go bye so got the 3rd fish as well

thanks.neon and silver tip tetras are being decreased but they are killing them then just spitting them back out!!Feeding bloodworm and hikari gold but not yet seen them feed properly
