Lents???pick up

just a quick question to those in the know.Is the pink colouration in the tail and dorsal(and occasional tinge within the dorsal body region dependant on mood) a juvenile trait or regional variation,as most of the pic's on line dont show this.
 
In the first link is a pic of Nibwrench's and both of mine which are of the Orinoco variant. They all show quite a bit of the pinkish that you speak of. If I am remembering correctly, Scats were similar to most lents in the Juvenile stage then changed in color and appearance as they matured. Ours are towards the bottom of the page.

The next one is a lent of Scats which is the debated Lent/redback strigata variant which I am unsure of collection area.

cheers for the links.they certainly look like yours but with less black pigmentation .As an aside i have just spotted the onset of Ich ,only a few spots so raised the temp in the tank from 78 up to 84 and added 500g of aquarium tonic salt .(120 ukgal)
