Thanks guys. This is the first Leo I have owned, so I was just checking if this was normal. As far as the sting goes. I think I just got a little too comfortable with them. This has definately opened my eyes to be more cautious

I've only seen this defensive "scorpion" stance once, and it was same scenario, in a tote with a few inches of water. I jumped back so fast I almost tripped over a full clothes basket that was about 3 feet behind me. Definetly a real eye opener. At that point I had never even heard of, or thought them to be capable of something like that.
