leo gecko

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ive done my resherch. i was just wondering that if they grew up together in so much space would it be a problem. and i was getting a female anyway but the people at the pet store dont know how to sex them...

I don't understand the question about the space. The more space the better IMO.

90% of the leopard geckos sold in pet store are incubated to be females. So most likely yours is a female.

Queer. Never actually seen an aggresive leo. Just be patient I suppose. Then you can start some minor patting and it should gradually tame down.

This guy should not be allowed to keep anything. UGH Just settle down you are going to over stress the leopard gecko and kill it. Have you even gotten it to eat anything yet? That would probably be one of the first priories before thinking about getting ANOTHER leopard gecko. IMO return the gecko and go buy a betta fish.

Don't handle him/her until he/she eats. I think I read on here, someone had a Beardie that was nuts so he put a shirt in the tank after wearing it for a while so the Beardie got used to the smell. My Leo was a hot head when I first got him too... no biting, but he used to bark at me and try to escape. I would put him in a topless Rubbermaid container, like, 8" high so he can see over the edge but not climb out, and put the container next to me on my floor or bed or table or whatever, so he got used to people. He's still a bit insane but he seems to like people now.
