Leo/pearl x pearl.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Are they related? I only ask because some people get all wrapped up on it in some post and not in others. Just curious and no disrespect intended. Beautiful rays. Congrats.

Thanks, no info on the relation.

That's grown into one very beautiful ray.
Congrats! ...really like it!
Thanks, here is a quick pic of the female. She grew a lot bigger then the male and will probably hit another growth spurt when she has her first pups. She is also hard to get a good picture of as she is always has sand on her as you can see in the pics. The ray behind her and to the left is the male I am trying to get to breed her. The other ray is a classic leo female that should be ready to breed too!!

Thanks

The female is probably 4" bigger as this guy turned out to be a midget. I am trying to breed that female with a bd/leo.

Thanks. This tank is on canisters so to save the equipment I just keep it gravel. I had to put my smaller rays into this tank as the adults are harassing them in the bigger tanks. The rays definitely color up better on sand. Maybe someday I will be able to put him back on the sand.

Have you thought of raising the intakes and adding sand?
Or how about slate or tile?

It just a 15yr old 230 gallon grow out tank that's has stood the test of time so I will just leave it as is until the time it needs to be torn down. Never had the desire to change it as most of the time this tank has no rays. They are just there temporarily until they grow out bigger for the other tanks or are sold.

Really nice community.. the hybrid turned out great. .
Live the bass too (are they azuls?)
