Day 3 in the tank. Leon hasn't tried to eat him yet, but I think he's starting to think about it...
A few minutes ago Leon chased Tigre into that hole, and there was a lot of loud grunting, so I'm assuming this may not work

try a divider and power feed Tigre till it catches up in size. It might workCraziest thing just happened...
Leon went over to try to grab Tigre again, then there was a loud grunt and I turned around and found Leon's face in Tigre's mouth. And for about 5 minutes Tigre held him there until Leon finally pulled himself free and swam to the other side of the tank.
So I don't think I need to worry about Tigre getting eaten anymore lol.
Other than that, I'm keeping Leon on his normal diet of one piece of shrimp every 2 days, and I'm feeding Tigre 2-3 pieces a day. So hopefully I can get him to catch up in size within the next few months
