Leopard Catfish.

Hi guys, is it true the leopard catfish is derived from the mating of the Red Tail and Tiger Shovelnose? It looks kinda cool but the fact is I actually dislike hybrid catfishes... not original.. hehehe do you get these in the states??
 
Not sure if they're commonly called Leopards, but there has been a ton of those RTCxShovelnose hybrids in the Los Angeles area recently. Coryodoras Julii is commonly called a Leopard Cat, but I doubt that's what you're referring to ;-)
 
Yeah, it's pretty easy to find RTCxTSN around here. But they grow super-quick and get huge so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with less than a 360 gallon tank...
 
RTCxTSN are very common around here, but as stated above they get huge.

I think you would get more response in the catfish section though.
