I recently was given a young leopard frog. I have a ten gallon and water with a clay pot for him to get out of the water onto. I could really use some help as to how to set up his tank! Anything would be helpful.

Thank you for your time.

 Anyone?

:nilly:Come one some help please? If you don't know then post any way, cause I've never done frogs.

semi aquatic, filtered pool or water dish changed daily, part land, part water habitat, really need to go at least 20g tank. Room temp is fine as they can go from 65-80 without a problem.

planted/non planted is fine, just provide a few hiding places.

crickets, roaches, meal worms, earthworms, most staple feeders work fine, just don't over feed, once or twice a week is good.

no special lighting required

overall, a nice easy frog to start with.

Sounds good I made an interesting tank set-up for him. I'll take pics later

Google "leopard frog pet" and you will get dozens upon dozens of sites full of information for you.

Good advice :-) Throw some pothos in the tank. Grows like a weed. Will give him/ her more places to hide

Okay so I haven't been able to really make a fantastic set-up yet but it's getting there, I really can't buy much stuff cause my parents say that I that I can make a fine set-up with stuff around the house. They are kinda right I've made a ghetto set-up for the moment xD.

Any, way I was having trouble getting the frog to eat, and as a last resort I attempted to feed him a minnow, and NOM NOM he ate it!! :O Is that normal for frogs?

And also are small fish an okay food source for my frog?

fish are ok once in a while, just not as a staple. You'll lose the viatmin balance and could end up with thiamese(sp) poisoning. If you are to feed fish, stick with minnows, guppies, tetras, etc, no feeder gold fish.
