leopard gecko not eating

try getting a container of repti-aid, it's a wonderfull powder that you mix w/ warm water and feed through a syringe. when i first adopted my female gecko she wasn't eating anything live, dispite plenty of crickets and mealworms being offered. enstead of force feeding w/ the syringe, i've found that if your patient enough simply putting a very small amount of the mix on the gecko's nose will irritate it enought that it will start to lick off the repti-aid, when it starts to do this you just keep adding a little bit at a time and it just keep licking the syringe. it takes about half an hour to get a cc into their system but it sure beats having a tramatised gecko that freaks out every time you pick it up. if it's not feeding now but it still has plenty of fat on it's tail then it may just not feel like eating, my female goes through moods where she'll eat anything, then just mealworms or crickets then she won't eat for a few days then she'll go back to eating something(usually crickets) while my male will eat anything at any time.
