I'd skip the basking lamp and get an under tank heater instead. Leos don't like much light as they are nocturnal. I'd also get 2 hides, one for each end of the tank so you can heat one end to create a temp. gradient (however slight it may be in a 10 gallon tank). It will also help to have one of them be a moist hide-I used a gladware container with some moist moss for mine-as it will greatly assist shedding. Also as mentioned, don't use the walnut stuff. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure why they even sell the stuff...
