Leopard or red foot?

Well my dad is making a 3 tier viv tower. And we are going to have my 2 Hermans torts in the bottom. 2 Corn snakes in the middle and the top for another species of tortiose. I don't if i should get either, A lepard or a Red foot. The viv will be of a big size and we have a 2 other big runs/cages. What would be a better chioce?
 
you know me bruce im biased to redfoots so thats my opinion...one they are relatively easy (i never kept a leopard but not to hard either), two they are relatively small (10-14 inch average) and three they are colorful...let us know what you decide and post flicks when you get em...

Okay i've been thinking about it and researching and leopard get too big, so i'm gonna get either 1 02 red foots. Plus they are cheaper too.
 
yes they are cheaper...i got two...just make sure you have a rubbermaid or something to seperate them incase one gets sick or starts showing signs of illness...

Yep that won't be a prob. My parents said that i should be able to get a red foot soon. I might get 2 if i'm lucky.
 
BWB What about Elongata (Yellow Heads) which have similar requirements to Red Foots? Then of course there are pancake tortoises which are very cool.

You are right to bin the idea of Leopards as they need grazing like Sulcatas.

If you are going to have tropical tortoises that need a humid habitat like red/yellow foots and Elongata make sure that you get a plastic viv as the melamine ones will soon swell. How do I know? All my bloody ones have lol.
 
how big is your enclosure going to be? Redfoots although small require a great deal of space, 15X9 is ideal for one tortoise. Reds are very active torts i have two of them in a 25x10x10 room i am not trying to steer you away from these animals but you should do some fact finding before even considering, getting one of these. There are plenty of care sheets on the net, and from how you described your viv. you dont have proper space for the hermans that you already have. So save you self some money and time and read a care sheet.

My LRS has Red footeds in and are a very good prices thats why i'm gettting RF's.
