here's a few more: how big are newborn pups? and will they breed with other fish like dats, gar, and bichir? If one of those wont even get along with rays, let me know.

Newborns are about 2.5-3.5 inches and yes they will breed with other fish in the tank. I don't like keeping bichirs with rays but others do. Gars and Dats are excellent fish to keep with rays. Gars in my opinion are probably the best out of all the above listed.

thats 13 polys that get about 2 ft (give or take) and 3 rays that get about 24 inches....

it would work for awhile, but would get very packed as they grew...

deeper would be better for the rays... and i would consider larger for that amount of bottom dwellers...

Polys have a tendancy to pester rays tails to atleast thats been my experience.
