Leopoldi breeders pond

Looks great all finished Mike...time for another trip for me as well..

Did I spot a Henlei in the Leopoldi breeding pond, near the last pics?

I have not been able to get my female henlei to breed yet there much more tricky then leo thats for sure. The brown colored one loves to swim mid tank and I felt bad keeping her in a smaller pond so they were moved to the large pond. They both swim laps all day long about 12" from top of water they look like UFO's. I am hoping one of my proven breeders will get them going and then I can move them in with the male henlei's but no luck yet.

walking space is kept to minimum.

its a optional thing anyway.... i still think we should build a 4' wall in front of the bay door to the bathroom and flood the building....small walk space from office to bathroom and thats it...

No need those ponds for more controlled breeding in future like thousand island, bd's and p14's etc.
