crisp clear and straight to the point. they are freshwater ray, that need good water quality. the salt would detract from that from this rays point of veiw

Does this tank contain saltwater now or is it empty and was previously set up as a saltwater tank?

no they can't.

firstly, they're freshwater.

secondly, they're soft and acidic water fish.

please don't attempt a reverse of the bumblebee grouper trick.

thanks all, i was pretty sure that it wouldn't work.I would never try to kill a leo by putiing it somewhere it didn't belong. any of you know of a good saltwater ray other than a blue spotted that would work in a 240 long.
