This is one of the most common scams and a very large source of income for many of the West African countries. The reason the amount is so small is so that their police don't bother pursuing it because it's too small time. Once they have you for $20 bucks they try and reel you in for more using the shipper as the excuse, and then customs and then the packaging company and so on and so forth. This scam has been known to be used for all kinds of dogs, rare birds, snakes, lizards, and cats. You got to hand it to them, it's pretty tempting isn't it? I mean it's only $20 right?
I can't stress enough that if you go ahead and sucker in, you might as well get yourself a pair of Velcro shoes and get fitted for a helmet.

I don't mind for the extra fee for flight, food and accomindations... I just want the fish. Just tell me the exact location of the breeding facility in Cameroon and any other location that you bred these stingray. I will personally visit these facility and will purchase "ALL" the leo's pup for $600 per pair. I can offer the payment as paypals, bank transfer, cash and bank check...
I don't need it to be shipped to my nearest airport or to my door, because I want to see them first hand, and like I said before, I don't mind travelling around the world to have a look at them... If you don't trust me, I can offer you a free ride on my private jet to these facility...

That sounds good, but you forgot to end it with "God Bless". That's the tell tale sign that it's a scam each and every time.

Working for the Attorney General for the past years has taught me somthing. There are so many scams coming from over seas especially africa. I have seen it so many times with fake checks and there is nothing we can do for them its sad because usually they find ways to take more then what they originally ask. Its not worth the risk just pay the extra money and buy from one of the vendors here. In addition i think the prices will come down withing a few years there are alot of breeding programs going on.
20% down payment times $600 equals 120 bucks plus the $330 you send to a "shipping agency" they make 450 bucks and you get nothing............seems like a great deal.
