Leo's stinger question

Last night after work I noticed the sheathing coming off my big female's stinger. Is this something that just happens or did she tag someone? The tip is still OK and none of the other fish were harmed.
What do you think?

Most likely she stung something. Only other thing that would cause it to do that is bacteria.

My vote is she stung something whether it be another fish or decorations. It will eventually fall off so nothing to worry about.

Probably swimming the glass and the tail came down into the sand or something else stripping off the tip a bit.

Sorry . I was wrong. She stung my male. Right on the edge of his disk. He seems fine. Just torn skin. Already healing.
Any signs to watch for?
