I didn't even notice they had spawned!! I noticed the female's belly was no longer pink, but other than that it never registered....I just noticed free swimming fry a moment ago...A blurry picture of parent and fry, and a picture of the parents taken several days ago...David

damn David......just showed up here and started breeding huh. hahaha, good stuff man, that means your definitely keeping your pikes conditions happy..>Speaking of conditions, what are they?

We have fairly soft water here(soft enough that I was able to spawn Uaru without altering my water)...the Ph is about 7.0 and the tds is around 250 ppm....they're in a bare-bottom 25 gallon with a couple sponge filters and the little cave made out of tiles that I've used in the past for spawning plecos...this is the 2nd pair of lepidota that I've spawned, and I'm currently trying to get notoph. , semifasciatus, and frenata to spawn...David

man, sounds like they love your water.....probably well water right? Anyway, very nice.

Wish it would work like that with Lugs!
