Leptobotia elongata info. growth and pictures

My LFS gets them from time to time. Are there any progression threads of big Elongatas? Seems like there hasn't been anyone posting a "Hey, here is my rare loach progression." I'd just like to see some captives reaching up to 10" plus that is achieved in the aquaria successfully. Since, not too much captive information is out there. I've been hesitating to get a few for this reason.

Which is precisely why I bumped this old thread today. :)
 
There are some in the marketplace selling 5"-8" from private collectors. I wonder why if these are considered the "holy grail" of loaches. Also...... a Bump to this thread!
 
gonna bump this again as well since i am interested in these guys and what people are houseing them with.
 
Bumping this. Since, I have not seen threads anywhere about their progression. I'm assuming people are not having success growing these out in captivity. Just my thought.
