wow man. thanks for flaming me for my comment and my age. I wasn't dissing anybody here. I actually deeply respect you in MFK and ur prices are great. OK, WetSpot had three of them for 250 bucks even ask the owner. They just sold out.

maybe I came off a bit harsh. So from someone that has been in your shoes. I was once your age, and pissed off people, as I grew older, I learned to respect and earn respect from others. It took years of practice and still learning.

Don't worry, you should be ok, and that is why I gave the analogy. Sure there are better deals, cheaper fish, etc. However, it is important to try to see things from different perspective. The work, effort that it takes to import fish. The fish that die during shipping, in the care of quarantine. Each store and business have different types of overhead expensives, electricity, employees, time, and money invested into it. Each shipment varies, I have had brokopondo peacock bass come in 95% healthy, and also one time lost about 80% of the shipment within 2 wks, which I'm not credited for by the exporter. All these have to be factored into the price of the fish

Happy fish keeping, no hard feelings, just always remember to place yourself in other people's shoes before opinions are said, that will help you go a long way.

I can attest to lil.max14 on the prices for the elongata. It's a lfs close to my area. Sure, it is a great deal for this rare fish, but it all balances out as their offerings are on the medium to the higher end price range. Either way, they'll get your money someway or another, lol!
