I remember Y2K, the hype around that was much crazier than this thats for sure...

I was 10 years old when Y2K happened. I remember hearing about it, but never even knew what was happening. I just remembered computers weren't programmed to change to the year 2000 just the 19xx's. Its a computer....the damn thing better know how to change from 1999 to 2000.
That the one where that old guy was predicting the world to end at a certain point?...Wonder what he is up to these days?

He tried saying that his date was wrong and it's still coming up but no one listened to him anymore so I think he must be hiding out of shame.
Yeah, if I'm correct he was based in Oakland and a lot of his devoted followers sold off everything and came to the bay to be near him on the day. The local news claimed we suffered a severe case of doomsday traffic, but I think that's about the only thing that happened.
