Well i dont know but my LFS gets it rectified in case of any issues by either replacing the unit or taking spares from his stock :)

i would have spend around $3000 on him so he cant afford to ill please me :D
 
I recently purchased a odyessa 700. I know its not the fluval fx5 like I was thinking about getting but Needed another filter fast and it offered a uv light. so far I am happy. its been running for several months. as long as you maintain the filter and change the light every yr or until it goes it should work. It has a clear canister which I think is nice cause you can see how dirty it really is getting.
