Lesser siren

I know it's technically an amphibian but the LFS has one at about 2ft long for $80. Anyone know about them and what they usually go for at this size?

$80 seems kind of high especially where your from. Wild ones are near your area. Of course you gota catch em

Had a question about these-

Is there any concern with keeping them with fish? I heard about some of the "slime" they produce, has this ever caused problems for anyone?

i have 3 of those in my 180g community tank. no problems whatsoever.
just make you dont have aggressive fish that can nip on their gills.
$80 is way too high. i payed $15 each for mine at jack's aquarium.
