hey just swapped out my substrate in my 29 to black sand (25 lbs)... so its still really cloudy so be easy on me:nilly:

its got a fluval 205 and a 2 bulb t5 fixture.

its current inhabitants are 3 baby convicts and 3 baby firemouths (hope they pair off so i have 2 breeding pairs in there) i know its gonna be pushing the stocking limit, but ill do frequent water changes (~50%/week) and i wont be adding anymore fish.

heres a pic of how its organized i just wanted a little constructive criticism on it please!!! theres like 55 dollars worth of wood in there hahah

its just still cloudy from the sand (i got sick of rinsing it)

I like the aqua scape but the tank looks really short. How long is it?... Also, if you do a water change or two the water will likely clear up in no time.

It's nice, but there's something about those stones. Either than that it looks good :)

I like the setup. It is pretty clean and simple. As for the stocking, I think it will last for a little while but once the fish start to pair off, I think you are going to have some trouble. IMO the FM pair would look mighty nice in there.

Yeah i would ditch those ugly stones and pile your driftwood up on top maybe another piece to make a cave. I have 3 m black quartz sand and two large chunks of bogwood in my 85 and I like the simple look. Yours is similiar but those stones ------- got to go LOL
