well yea they should be kept indoors, but my cat is slightly diffrent
he is an indoor/outdoor cat, if he want to go outside we let him outside, he usually lets me know by sitting at the door and look straight into my eyes like *can i go out please*, but the thing is that he never leave the boundaried of the yard. he is usually sitting under the love seat we have in the backyard or sits on the porch in the front yard in the sun.
he does have restriction though, at night and when no one is home to watch him has to be inside. It really annoys me when im getting ready for school at 5 am and when i get to the kitchen door to leave, he want out
and he doesnt crap in anyones yard or ours, if he's outside, he will just knock (paw) at the door, we let him in, and he uses the litter box
