Was the turtle humping the ray on the second pic? You know, like in prison, the new guy gets picked on and is most likely gonna be "reared" to be tougher... :)

So far so good! Way to go. I am glad people take risks. What a freakin combo:headbang2  .......

Since I have very little substrate the ray was actually seeking the cover of the ray, trying to hide!

cool project
scientific observation and study
is my favorite part of keeping fish
and other animals
trying new things is the best way to learn
and taking great risks is the only way to find out what could be
FRT is one of the coolest things ive seen in a tank
and if you can make it work with the ray your tank will be hard to take your eyes off of
good luck hope it works out for you

give us more pics:D

24 hours and everybody is a ok!

more pics to come later!

rays are also already eating worms and frozen krill....

Sorry for the blurry image, was taken from my cell nokia 6620, couple of months ago..

It was a nice odd couple for a few months (red belly + rhom) and they tolerate each other exsistant.. Until.. one got too hungry (bascially its my fault, feeders sold out at LFS, so waited a week, and one day I came home, its gone :irked: ).. and shred the other guy to pieces...

sorry for the double post, this is the rhom (thats what the LFS claim and sold to me as / correct me if I am wrong) and thats the clearest image i found over my video (nokia 6620) of the whole tank.
