This is a pic looking down on where it returns into the tank. It's two 90's to wrap up over the lip of the tank, then a 45. I added the 45 after the tank was up and running because the water pressure was moving the sand. Now it skims across the top and adds more surface agitation

I looked at a few different returns, and this just seemed like the simpler route. With the black background, the pvc painted black, and pothos growing out of the AC110, you can't really even see the return at all.

Picked up a couple more little clowns today to go with the other little one I bought a few weeks ago to take the group up to 9 now. One has a bit of an oddball pattern. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

They definitely are! But for the most part they aren't disturbed by the bigger ones and kind of act as a clean up crew for the bigger clowns, so it works out pretty well.
