Like the pattern around the eyes on the first pic, the second one looks to be turning into '5 star' pearl, is it the offspring of the pearl in the 5th picture?

I have absolutely no idea,this is a male i got from Belgium,he's captive bred.....sorry i can't help with that one,its definitely a pattern less common than the norm,i like it very much too.

Glad the pics have inspired you,i feel these wonderfully patterned rays somehow don't get the recognition they deserve....endless colours and patterns,this for me is what makes them special and very collectable imo.

Your right Wing, the second one is turning into a 5 star pearl.This particular ray was bought from the Netherlands and the 5th one bought from Belgium so as far as i'm aware they are not related.
The picture of the light base Pearl pup is the offspring of my pair with the 5th picture been the father.

I wish i can get my hand on one, but in my country (Syria, Middle East) the fish market seen is not that big and I can’t find most fish. Good luck ..
