pretty sure its a hogfish of some species, but what?
 
idk the mouth and eyes look way off to be a hog

my guess is a Liopropoma aurora, a hawaiian species...
 
way to go BiIGgourami. There common name is Sunrise Basslet. I was offered one from my diver once but i passed on him. He wanted $1300. To put that in retail complex it would be after it go's to a wholesaler then the local fish store then to u it would be prob around $4,000. Only one is caught every few years. Last one was about 3 years ago.
