They should make it to about 10" - 12" in length and they are awesome fish. I lost mine about a year ago, he was one of my favorites. Here is a very good article on the Hoplarchus psittacus. You will need a tank at least 100 gallons for them.

Keep in mind these are NOT blood parrots which are what are typically called parrot cichlids in fish stores.
