how old is Stubby.. and how big is he.. he also has an unusual color

Stubby is a year old, about 6" long, and almost as tall. I used to have 4 shortbody oscars, but the others were too short I guess, so they died unexpectedly. I have alot of bogwood in my tank, so the water is teacolored, giving the fish that hue...he's a normal colored albino tiger oscar.

well lots of luck with Stubby because he is a really adorable guy.. I am sorry you lost your others.. I am losing the battle with my rescued Oscar {tiger} he is 11 inches but has hole in the head.. we have used so much medicine in the past year and dedicated a 75 gal tank just for him..but suddenly this week he is turned off to food..so we may have to call it quits..i never want any fish to suffer and i am pretty sure nothing else is going to help him. My best to Stubby.

Sorry but could not resist here, but here is a couple more pics of my O's. The big tiger is named "Placid". His is a big, sweet brute but never harms any of my other fish, unless they are feeders. He was the first fish I have ever had and is a lil' over 3 years old.
The second O is named "Blondie" and is 10". These 2 are inseperable. Always right next to each other. Here is the updated pics of them I took them earlier today. They are housed in my 220 gallon show aquarium. Oscars are great fish and I beleive they can recognize people.

When it is feeding time, I pull out the Hikiri pellets and they see the can and go nuts wagging back and forth. They are not mindless fish...I will say that.
