I just got my 46g bowfront set up for the same species. Never see the darn fish though.
You know they're a very difficult to keep, temperate, SW water fish, right?

Trust me that was the first page I looked up when researching it. It was a semi impulse buy. I had seen one in austin about 8 inches but knew nothing about it so I passed. Did some research on them and later that week my lfs got this one in. I figured I had a good as chance as anyone to keep him alive. Only thing I am lacking is the chiller but my wife keeps it a little chilly in the house anyways. I'll post plenty info when I can get some decent pics as I would love your opinion along with everyone else on here. Is your 46 gal for life or just grow out?
Like yourself, I figured I had a better chance of keeping this fellow alive than anyone else shopping at my LFS. So even all I have room for it is a 46g, it'll have to do. I also don't use a chiller but it's in the coldest room in the house.
hey pufferpunk =)... my puffers are quite tamed... they dont bite the mudskippers at all... quite peaceful...its very relaxing watching them. When the fishes gets bigger, i will have to upgrade my tank or give some away..
Anyone can recommend any good plants for brackish water? =)
