How long have you had the octopus? I have read in TFH and a few websites that they are short lived. Also have you managed to keep any fish with it that it hasn't eaten?
 
ive had him about a month now i got him when he was about 2 weeks old so hes probly a month and a half old and the lifespan should be 1 year to a year and a half. i put some green chromis in but i didnt really take care of them so i think they died on theyr own and he just grabbed them after they died or while they were sleeping. one way or another he ate them. i think im going to try another fish when hes a little bigger right now im too worried bout that fish hurting him.
