How true, I got my Synspillum as a friend for my Oscar, cuz my sunish died.
He started taking over the tank and bugging all fish except for my Gar.
My Oscar knocked himself out in the middle of the night, due to the Vieja.
Very annoying!
But 3 weeks ago during WC he started attacking my Oscar and I cornered the fish with a net and threathened to catch him.
Every time since then I just showed him the net everytime he shows some attitude, and he actually backs off!:D
Things are cool now, pretty strange,eh?
Boy, does he hate that net!:ROFL:

guess i'm not the only sucker then, everywhere i read it says.... synspillum are a mellow cichlid and can be kept in a non aggressive to semi aggressive community tank:ROFL:. i hate to think what an aggro syns will do in a comm. set up if the mellow one tried to kill a 2' GG:screwy:
