Was transfering one of them into a bigger tank. Neted fine and easy into cooler but went belly up instantly. His equillibrium got thrown off. Kept him in a seperate tank and hand force fed him for 3 months before kicking the bucket
Second one got killed by the 17-18" watermelon pleco he was with.
Dont know what happened, didnt bang anything and I used a large koi net. Lifted out smooth and into cooler. Less than 5 seconds and was upside down. This happened twice to me already. I love lates but might throw in the towel.
The one that got killed by the pleco was weird. I knew the pleco was super agro because he will ram my hand when I clean the tank but didnt think the lates would stay still on the bottom. He was always on the top and mid level of the tank.

ive heard of alot of people losing them through moving.
but ive personally never had any problem before.
i even dumped 3 barras into a tank with completely different params when my main tank broke.
