Wow inch per month...that's unheard of for a rapheal. Every site I read on says it takes them a year to grow 4 inches. Impressive. Mine in a 125 with a green terror with 2 60 % water changes a week and I'm only getting like like 1/8 inch a month. LOL that's Awsome man. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I feed about 10 different foods and use Kent Marine Garlic Xtreme to let them know when it's time to eat. Hopefully in a year or so my guy will have caught up to busterbrown's monster! I got it because it's the closest thing I can get to a RTC, but I don't really expect it to keep up the current growth rate. We'll see in a few months!

Okay, here's mine. He was purchased at 3/4" from Petsmart on March 21st and quarantined in my 15g until he was moved to the 125g on May 16th. He's now 5" and eats (pigs out) like a champ. So I guess that means he's growing just under an inch per month. :D

Looks just like my Megaladorus Uranoscopus aka Irwini catfish/giant raphael catfish. mine also grows at 1" a month. does it have lots of spikes along its sides? if so you have an irwini. any chance you could post a better pic? heres mine (its an old pic my camera is broken)

If yours looks like that its an Irwini, they get upto around 2 feet long also

Irwini > Rapheal hands down and is known to grow beastly. Raphael's, not so much. I love the title of this thread though, as if there are many Raphael's this large...

Don't know about ten plus but close these two the first about ten the second 7+:)
