so here is a pic of my tiger shovel nose after he basically savaged my 8 inch knife fish in a hit! I honestly thought the knife was safe and the shovel would focus on the buffet of african cichlids I have in there for him

Meh the knife only cost me $4 from a petsmart so fish eat fish LOLOL

now I managed to get a serious action shot of this same catfish as he took down a larger cichlid. Usually I only get to see the after effect but this time I got an action shot.

Hahah thats pretty sweet but what are you feeding him cichlids? you could sell them and buy more fish that he couldent eat.

where is the fun in that

it is after all a tiger shovel nose and at least I know my feeders I am letting him eat are totally free from the bad stuff that feeder goldfish carry

There is also a 15 inch silver aro in the tank with him who powers down the odd fish as well

So I picked up 2 small iri sharks to grow out for a display tank and one of the little tykes has a bellly worthy of this thread I will load up the picture later. I am shocked that it can have such a large belly
