I got it mostly as-is, but since it only had one of the stock spoke wheels, I put these wheels on and I also painted it, repacked all the bearings and cleaned everything up. I wanted to repaint it the stock color, but it had been painted over and I couldn't find any pictures that resembled what I could see of the original paint that was left when I stripped the new stuff off. The rainbow chain and Rage Against the Machine sticker were already there and i thought they were cool, so I left them. I want to put a front and a different rear brake on it yet.
My road bike and my traveler, also have a stretched dyno like Camshaftramrods but plain with ape hangers, more rat rod, I painted it too but no pics right now.
the cool thing about my red bike posted is Im 35 now, and that frame is a bike my mom got me when I was 16. I Frankensteined it earlier this year for cruisin the town and such day or night. Made her smile.
