LETS SEE THOSE BN PLECS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I myself haven't had a BN since the 90's and in my opinion consider them to be "common", but I like plecos in general and don't have any issues seeing them. In fact, nice pics guys...keep'em coming!

Well I think you guys are missing out. Yes they are common, but it doesn't mean they still aren't a really great addition to a tank that can't sustain a 2' common plec. I just get anxiety spending over 30$ on a fish, and I like to raise mine from babies anyways. So maybe I am not a great monster keeper yet, but I enjoy raising my little monsters from small size anyways. Even tho these stay small, I still really love them. The males looks like little beasts! I do miss my common plec often, his name was Big Ugly, I am just a lover of bottom dwellers in general. I can't wait to make a pond and raise a red tail cat. I totally regret selling my 2' long baby.

Here is a baby standard color, longfin I purchased a few months ago. I have two of them.

Super cute babies IPisces !!!

These fish are great, and I love my babies. I would love to drop hella money on some plecs and cats after I graduate but really all fish are freaking cool, why else would we keep them??

They are so cute aren't they. I sold my breeding pair a year or so ago. I sold my longfin albino too. Kinda regret that, but at the time I was going to take that tank down. I got down to the bog wood and a few plants left over and I couldn't let them go. the tank is still up after a year with just a sailfin pleco and a king plaket betta. thats the 25 tall. I have more tanks. a 55gal FW and 5 various size(54 up to 240) SW tanks.
